Get to know Karrie

After high school, she enrolled at the University of Texas where she majored in political science and minored in business. Later she studied Spanish at the University of Madrid in Spain. Karrie worked for a congressman as a legislative aid during her college years, managing her budding real estate career on the weekends, along with her college studies. Those efforts funded her college education.

Karrie obtained her real estate broker’s license in 1998. She decided to transition from residential property sales to commercial and multifamily properties and later into property management. This move not only provided more income and experience, it also allowed her more freedom, new challenges and opportunities.

Karrie taught real estate classes at a nationally recognized real estate school in Texas. She realized most of the information about acquiring and managing property is directed at single-family housing. She wanted to fill in the gap for those who have a different goal for their real estate investment dollars.

Today, Karrie works with million dollar clients looking to invest in commercial and multifamily properties. Her management company, Preston Management, enables investors to continue with their careers and family responsibilities as their portfolio grows. She currently manages more than 21 properties worth over 42 million dollars.
